Resentment is a thought, an attitude and an emotion. Holding onto a deep-seated grudge against someone who has hurt or offended us can create a desire for revenge, and can become a habitual response to people or circumstances that do not meet with our approval. We can even get addicted to the high that comes from allowing our pain to excuse us from being kind. Words like, “I hate you and I will never forgive you,” or, “You’ll pay for that,” show that resentment is already forming.
Physical effects of the pattern: All forms of arthritis, digestive disorders, heart/lung problems, high cholesterol, and bladder and urinary tract problems.
How to change the pattern: Practicing forgiveness improves our health and raises our vibrational frequency.
